Week 8: Session 1, 2, and 3

         After learning so many beneficial lessons, I realize that I become a knowledgeable person and can know some of the processes about computer and some applications. And now, this lesson pursues my knowledge more to a high standard, which is about Presentation Skills. It is very useful for students, especially in university. They need such this application to compromise their learning and skills in presenting.

     For the first week, it is about Microsoft Power Point Basics


     The first step of using MS Power Point is Applying a Theme (Theme colors, Theme Font and Shape S tyle).
     I learn many processes on how to apply theme such as:

• Go to the Design Tab.
• Locate the Themes Group and each image represents theme.
• Click the drop-down arrow to access more theme.
• Hover over a theme to see a live preview of it in the presentation. The name of the theme will appear as you hover over it.
• Click a theme to apply it to the slides.

    I also learn how to insert images and clip-arts from files and screenshots. However, the important material that makes the slides look emotional and adds the movement to our slides from one slide to another  is Transition. There many choices that are allowed to control are speed and sound. 

These are the 3 categories of Transition which we can add to our slides

   Beside Transition, I also learn about Creating Word Arts and Shapes, Formatting Images, Animating Texts and Objects, and Inserting Video. All of these are the important principles of MS Power Point.

      The Second Session: Microsoft Power Point Advanced

      After learning a number procedures of this lesson, I discover one more thing that is very essential in making the slides more attractive and clear in representing our ideas is Smart Art Illustration. In this section, I learn how to Insert a SmartArt graphic, insert Video, modify the Color and Effects, and change the Organization of graphic.

     I learn not only these processes I also learn how to record a slide show, Hyperlink and Action Button. For Hyperlink, there are two basic parts:

• The address of Web Page, Email address, or other location that they are linking to.
• Display text (or Image).

   The Third Session : Activities

    We revise all the lessons and principles of Power Point and practice the exercise in the text book together..!! I got all those main point by practicing so many times and ask my teacher for more details once I cannot catch up some points.
