Week 6: Session 1,2 and 3

    Salam everyone,...!! Going through a few weeks ago, I've learnt many beneficial lessons regarding to computer and Internet. However, for this week, the lesson is not so different from the previous week, which is about:

                                                    Word Processing Skills

      

        Lesson1:  MS Word Basic

            Microsoft Office is one of the applications including in Computer Software. As I've learnt from this week, Microsoft office includes a wide variety of programs such as: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Info Path, Microsoft SharePoint Workspace, Microsoft Coommunicator, and Microsoft Web Apps. All of these applications are important and common in using for users.

          

           As the beginning of my learning is Microsoft Word: Word Window. It consists of variety components including the document window, Ribbon, Mini toolbar, shortcut menus and Quick Access Toolbar. Not only these materials, Key Tips, Text Basics, Basics Tasks, and Basic Text Operations, Formatting, and Working with Graphics are included in this lesson as well. Basically, Basic Text Operations includes 8 components:

• Insert
• Delete
• Select
• Copy, cut and paste text 
• Drag and drop text 
• Find and Replace Text
• Save
• Printing

      Lesson 2:  MS Word Advanced

    In this lesson, I've learn the main three structure as well as: 

• Working with Styles and Templates
• Customizing Tables and Creating Charts
• Creating Mail Merge Documents

   The most important thing and interesting section in this lesson is Working with Hyperlink.

      Hyperlinks navigate from one web page to another and have two basic parts: 

• The address of the web page, email address, or other location that they are linking to
• The display text (or image).

   

      Lesson 3: Activity

     In the last lesson of this week, actually all the things that I've learnt has been finished, therefore for this lesson, I have many activities to do and practice as well as to revise all what I've been through. For the activities which have been done are:

•  Creating a table that contains Numbering, Your friend's name, Your friend's address, and Your friend's hobby.
• You are having a birthday party for your friend. Create an interactive invitation card using clip art, borders and shading.
