Salam everyone..!! I'm Sa Pily, and I'm from Cambodia.. my first life in Malaysia is very different from my country. Everything has changed all my whole life such as living far away from family, weather, walking all the time when going somewhere in AIU, especially food. Malaysian food is much different from my food in Cambodia even though it has good tastes; however, I confess that this is my first time that I eat that kind of food, and I also find it difficult to swallow it for the first time..!! In addition, the thing that makes me feel so guilty is "Culture Shock" because there are many students who come from many different parts of the world; therefore, their different cultures also appear when they're in AIU together. I get confused when they do something which is different from what I used to do.Sometimes, I make them disappointed on me because I don't know their culture. So, this is the important experience that I must remember in my life. Back to the educational system , I can realize that what I get in AIU is not as the same as what I got in my country such as the subjects, the programs, and the club activities. Among of those subjects containing in study program of the foundation studies, there is a subject which I think it is important in daily lives as well as very useful in the modern life is "Introduction to Computer and Internet" or "ICT".
Actually, It seems to be curious and unspecified about ICT because I'm sure that some people have never heard before, or they might have concerns.Therefore, let's recognise the meaning of ICT and start our new lives by entering to a new world with the new technology of it.....!!
